ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position is responsible for all the following:
Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.Read and interpret blueprints, bills of material, and work instructions as necessary to perform each assigned task.Perform all tasks per established quality and efficiency standards.Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes or materials.Perform other duties as assigned.SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.Proficient in basic material handling techniques.Ability to receive both written and verbal assignments.Effective and willing communicator.Strong team player.Capable of reading and interpreting schematics.General understanding of 12 and 24 volt circuits.General knowledge of common electrical components in 12 and 24 volt circuits.Capable of wiring in battery and alternator circuits.Capable of wiring in control boxes on equipment.Capable of building general control boxes for power distribution.Capable of general panel assembly.QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic mechanical aptitude.Creativity, initative, detail-oriented, results-focused.Self motivated and can work with moderate direction and mentoring.High School Diploma or GED.COMPENSATION:
Depending on experience the range for this role is between
$23.00 - 29.00 an hour . Overtime
required
when assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The performance of this position will require exposure to areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sit or Stand as neededStanding and walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the dayReaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Entrans International LLC.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background and drug screening.Professionalism, flexibility, critical thought process and creativityAbility to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines.Regular and reliable attendanceFollow all safety policies and procedures.Follow appropriate dress code.
