Description
SUMMARY:
The Analyst is responsible for working with KAGR staff to deliver successful consulting projects to KAGR's clients in the professional and collegiate sports and live entertainment verticals. Using data analysis, system and business process improvement methodologies, and project management skills, the Analyst will help ensure that KAGR delivers impactful and actionable consulting services across a range of strategy and technology projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Primary and Secondary Data AnalysisGather, synthesize, and analyze diverse client data from a range of sources (quantitative and qualitative) to distill relevant findings into actionable strategic insightsProvide robust support for findings, including backup analysis, written interview summaries, and memos summarizing secondary researchSupport creation of strategic hypotheses, and refine them over time as new data become availableConduct analysis for data- and technology-driven workstreams within larger strategic projects2. Client Deliverables
Support analysis of key client data processes and technology strategyCreate client-ready documentation (e.g. PowerPoint slides, Excel models, etc.) to communicate deliverables in a clear and consumable manner for clientsDevelop new approaches to communicating complex concepts, including through data visualization3. Client Relationships and Project Management
Support client interviews to gather relevant information on a project-by-project basisCoordinate overall project management and analysis4. Support additional strategic projects as business requires
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of experience in a Management Consulting, Technology, or Sports settingBachelor's degree requiredIdeal candidates have record of delivering significant business projects (for internal or external clients) to a high level of qualityExperience with technology assessments and implementations is a plus, but not requiredOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detail is requiredStrong data analysis and presentation skills (particularly using Excel, PowerPoint, R, or other programs) is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skillsStrong strategic analysis skillsMust be team-oriented and coachableMust have attention to detail and focused concentrationMust be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independentlyMust be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflowMust possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsivenessPHYSICAL DEMANDS
