Waggonner & Ball, a Moffatt & Nichol Studio (WB) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of marketing professionals and support the firm's business development efforts. This role leads and supports marketing pursuits across the company which offers multi-discipline services to transportation, ports and harbors, energy, and private clients throughout the world. This position is responsible for leading the development of pursuit strategies and persuasive proposals that differentiate and create a competitive advantage for our firm as well as producing project reports and related client deliverables. We are open to candidates near our New Orleans design studio.

We are a cross-disciplinary design practice specializing in adaptation planning, resilient landscapes, institutional architecture, and historic preservation. As a studio within Moffatt & Nichol, a global engineering and infrastructure advisory firm, we streamline design, engineering, and construction services to deliver beautiful, holistic solutions to the most critical climate challenges of our time.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage proposals, statements of qualification, and pursuit deliverables from capture planning through to shortlist presentation development and coachingWorks as a hybrid position in both marketing/billable project work positionCoordinate, write, edit, and produce statements of qualification, proposals, presentations and collateral marketing materialsCollaborate with project managers, key engineering and planning staff, graphic designers, and fellow marketers to ensure deliverables meet client needs and RFP/RFQ requirementsGuide pursuit/proposal teams in developing and refining winning strategies and themes, compelling messages, and persuasive benefit/differentiator pairsDevelop and write persuasive messages based on information from independent research, meetings with proposal team members, and knowledge of organization capabilities and servicesConsolidate team input into clear and effective responses, write executive summaries and non-technical content, tailor project and resume information to the specific needs of each pursuit and clientProvide preliminary and final quality control check of materials, including proofreading for grammar, request for proposal (RFP) compliance, and conformance to proposal strategies and win themesCollaborate with graphic designers to develop visual themes that support winning strategies and appropriately address target audienceManage and coach large teams of professionals on presentation skillsManages project reports

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline; required5 or more years of professional proposal writing management, in the architecture or engineering industry; requiredVisualization and Storytelling experience requiredGIS Storymap production experience preferredDesign training strongly preferredHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; requiredExperience and success working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detailDemonstrated initiative, follow-through, researching, and problem-solving abilityClient service-orientedAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire
