The perfect candidate will have the confidence to capture high-energy live comedy performances and transform those raw moments into polished, social media-ready clips. As a shooter and editor, youll balance the on-the-road responsibilities of capturing dynamic, high-end footage from our live comedy shows, with in-office editing and content refinement. While youll be part of a collaborative team, the ability to make quick, creative decisions on the fly and deliver content that aligns with our brands vision is essential.RESPONSIBILITIESSet up, operate, and break down camera and audio equipment for live comedy eventsCoordinate with venue technicians to ensure smooth production setup, including camera placements and audio recording needsCapture high-quality footage of live events, including multi-camera shootsReview, identify, and evaluate content for potential short-form clipsGenerate accurate logs and transcripts for efficient content managementEdit short-form videos tailored for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTokExecute basic color correction, audio synchronization, and mixing to elevate final video qualityCollaborate with social media and marketing teams to align content with overall brand goalsMaintain organized workflows and contribute to the teams ongoing efforts to streamline production efficiencyQUALIFICATIONSProven experience as a videographer with expertise in cameras, lenses, and production audio equipmentAdvanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or willingness to quickly master it; familiarity with other NLEs is beneficialStrong communicator who can troubleshoot on-site and maintain positive relationships with venue teamsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally for live events (valid passport required)Familiar with organizational tools like Basecamp, Trello, Notion, or AirtableAdept knowledge of internet culture, social media trends, and online content formatsExperience in motion graphics, color grading, or sound design is a strong plusThis a full-time staff position.
