Overview:
Waters Corporation is currently looking to hire a Material Coordinator to join our team.The position is responsible for material handling activities of raw materials in a manufacturing setting. These duties include: movement of components/ sub-assemblies, and Finished Goods to and from stocking locations. Duties will also include material cycle counting, and expediting materials to maintain customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Ensure efficient, accurate and continuous flow of material between departments.Unloading Raw Material from the Dock and the Production Conveyor.Pick up Material from the Stock Room & Receiving Areas.Deliver & Transact Material to Production Areas.
Manage Factory Orders: Release, Print, Prioritize, and Expedite.
Work with Engineering teams to ensure structured correctly: location & routing errorsManage material exceptions and shortages.
Manage Inventory Accuracy.
Factory Order Mgmt.Cycle Count Mgmt.Duty Free/FTZ Mgmt.
Manage Outside Vendor Processing
Purchase Orders, Material Packing, Shipping & Receiving
Enter & Manage Orders for Contract Manufacturing.Manage Transport Orders for Material Movement
Including weekly packing & shipments to other Waters facilities and Contract Manufacturers.
Understand SAP transactional codes
Independently and Problem-Solving initiative/skills.
Manage NPI Stockroom, Life Cycle Inventory.Manage of Non-Conforming Material.
Qualifications:Education:High School graduate, GED or equivalentExperience:SAP or similar MRP experience2+ yrs. experience in a warehouse or production environmentFamiliarity with GMPMS Office Excel & WordQualifications:Ability to MultitaskIndependent thinkerTeamwork attitudeStrong Customer Service SkillsStrong Communication Skills Written & VerbalMust be able to lift 40 lbs.
