job summary:A Civil Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Denver, CO area. This role involves leading the design, development, testing, and integration of complex engineering projects while serving as a technical expert and project leader, ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and strategic innovation within the organization.

responsibilities:
Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems.
Develop functional requirements and apply standard engineering principles.
Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs.
Serve as the technical project engineer or subject matter expert for assigned areas (e.g., facility, equipment, or product).
Manage major or several complex projects with moderate to large scopes.
Provide technical leadership on self-initiated, strategic assignments.
Lead design, equipment specification, selection, installation, start-up, and commissioning.Skills: Expertise in leading complex projects and applying advanced technical knowledge across disciplines.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).
10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.qualifications:
