They work closely with attorneys, filing documents in court and organizing briefs for trial preparation as well as preparing exhibits such as depositions from reports compiled by reporting services or other stakeholders involved during the discovery period through post-trial proceedings, including appeals if necessary.Responsibilities:We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled Paralegal to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. The successful candidate will be able to help during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing and attending trials (if applicable).Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessmentsDraft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the courtPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.)Assist with preparation of federal and state administrative filingsMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendicesTrial and arbitration preparation; preparation and management of trial exhibits and other trial related assistance.Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, Lexis and Westlaw researchLiaise between trial teams and internal/external third partiesHelp with voir-dire, jury selection and witness preparationAssist with case settlementsAddress client case status inquiries, including steps in process remaining, processing times, and appointment issuesEnsure compliance to all company Policies, Procedures, and expectationsQualifications:
Proven
3+ years
working experience in
Personal Injury
