The Crane Command Support Services (CCSS) aims to provide comprehensive professional, management, and administrative support services. These services span various areas critical to the operational efficiency and strategic objectives of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division.
Key Areas of Support:
Research, Analysis, and Planning: Deliver analytical and planning support across NSWC Crane's strategic and tactical operations.Program and Project Support: Facilitate the management and administrative support for ongoing and new programs and projects.Technology Transfer: Assist in the transfer of technology processes, fostering innovation and partnerships with industry and academia.Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Program: Support the development and implementation of STEM educational programs.Innovation Services: Provide support for initiatives that drive innovation across various departments.Chief Technology Office (CTO) Support: Offer specialized support to the CTO in executing technology-related strategies and operations.Executive Leadership Assistance: Provide administrative and strategic support to executive leadership for efficient decision-making and operations management.Functional and Compliance Areas: Handle the necessary functional and compliance support to align with corporate and regulatory standards.Scope of Work: This Task Order (TO) encompasses broad support for NSWC Crane's base-wide projects and programs, which are crucial for the Command organization and its customers. The services provided under this TO are designed to enhance the effectiveness of NSWC Crane in fulfilling its mission areas: Electronic Warfare/Information Operations, Strategic Missions, and Special Missions.
By fulfilling these requirements, CCSS plays a pivotal role in sustaining and enhancing the operational capacities and strategic initiatives of NSWC Crane, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological advancement and operational excellence in serving the Department of Defense.
The ideal candidate shall:
Manage and coordinate comprehensive administrative functions supporting the development, review, and update of strategic and tactical plans at NSWC Crane.Oversee services like secretarial and reception, payroll, conference planning, and travel, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Facilitate the acquisition, distribution, and storage of supplies, and manage the disposal of surplus and unclaimed property.Provide expertise in realignment programs and organizational restructuring, offering recommendations to improve efficiency and resolve deficiencies.Requirements
Security Clearance required.Associate degree in any field.2 years of general experience in management or operations.Prior Crane Command Operations highly desired.Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.Light to moderate lifting may be required.Regular, predictable attendance is required.Work Environment:
