Summary
Clearwave Fiber, a leading residential fiber-optic internet service provider, is seeking a dynamic and community-focused
Market Manager
to serve as the face of our brand across the Space Coast. The Market Manager will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with key local stakeholders while supporting the business in achieving growth and operational success. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to resolve challenges, escalate issues when necessary, and coordinate internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
What you will do:
Develop and manage primary working relationships with municipal leaders, council members, government agencies, chambers of commerce, economic development councils, non-government influencers, developers, homebuilders, utility companies, property owners, builders' associations, realtors, HOAs and local business ownersMaintain regular meeting/touchpoint cadence with key individuals in each municipality to sustain ongoing dialogueAssist with escalations that arise from construction efforts.Serve as the primary Clearwave Fiber liaison/point-of-contact/escalation point and work proactively to maintain and improve Clearwave Fiber's relationships and standing within the communities we servePromote a positive image of the Clearwave Fiber brand and offeringFacilitate and manage intracompany coordination (sales, installation, repair, and construction/engineering) for resolution of customer and broader community challenges from pre-construction to market maturityAnalyzes, researches, resolves, refers, and follows up on customer complaints regarding billing, credits, and services in an expedient and professional manner, including monitoring community detractors and maintaining open communications with themPartner with residential sales to negotiate and secure solicitors licenses and other documentation/agreements necessary for field sales activitiesTrack, monitor, and analyze sales results and penetration levels for the market; support development of action plans where neededWork with marketing, inside sales, direct sales, and retention teams to ensure maximum customer growth, retention, and serviceClosely monitor competitors and other fiber overbuilder activity (both construction and product offering/pricing) across existing and build funnel markets and develop a detailed understanding of the industry, market, and product/service trends affecting competitiveness, both short term and long termMaintain a deep understanding of and advise the business on local market trends and implications for business strategyPerform other duties as assigned to assist with the overall goals of exceeding the revenue and profitability targets while maximizing customer delightRequirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or outside sales roles, with a strong preference for experience in the telecommunications or related industries.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, demonstrated by strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.Customer-focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to provide excellent service.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.Self-starter with a track record of success in independently managing responsibilities in a high-visibility role.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.BENEFITS:
