As a
Manager, Trade Strategy , you will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team and play a key part in helping the organization grow. Through your ability to contribute to the development of the Away From Home trade strategy, you will help us generate profitable growth and drive efficient plans to deliver our business objectives. This hybrid role is in Chicago, IL, Naperville, IL, or Battle Creek, MI.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Trade Strategy
- Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of the trade strategy and plans . You will ensure customer contracts and initiatives are in line with AFH channel objectives, are profitable, well organized, and properly executed.Sales Strategy
- Builds customer sales and performance-based trade allocation models to support customer business plan initiatives. Provides guidance and direction to the sales team to ensure trade dollars are driving performance and profitable growth aligned with the strategic business plan.Drive Engagement
- Establish trade pricing and promotion principles and guidelines through your strong partnership with cross-functional teams (Sales, Commercial Strategy, Sales Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management) to ensure programs are fiscally sound and support customer and channel growth plans.We're Looking for Someone With
Experience working in Away From Home Trade or analytical business role with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companyTechnical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build detailed models as requiredIn depth understanding of the industry and the Away From Home channels and customer dynamicsHigh analytical skills and sound business judgment and confidence
