Requirements
Key Responsibilities:Guest Reception and Seating:Greet guests warmly upon arrival.Manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations.Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus, and introducing them to their server.
Reservations and Waitlist Management:Handle reservations via phone, online booking systems, and in-person.Manage the waitlist, keeping guests informed about their wait times.Communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to manage table availability.
Game Day Event Coordination:Ensure the venue is set up and ready for game day events, including TV/audio setups and special seating arrangements.Assist in organizing and promoting game day specials, events, or promotions.Coordinate with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during high-traffic events.Engage with guests to enhance their experience, answering questions and facilitating requests.
Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism.Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
Communication and Teamwork:Communicate effectively with all team members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and promotions.Support staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas.
Administrative Duties:Maintain an organized host station with necessary supplies.Handle guest payments for reservations or special events when necessary.Record and report any maintenance issues, guest feedback, or operational challenges to management.
