CMA is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Delivery to work on Transmission, Distribution, and Protection & Control projects for municipalities and Investor-owned utilities within the Southeastern United States Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic.
ResponsibilitiesProject management.Proposal preparation.Project and budget coordinationPerform Technical CoordinationPreparation of proposals and scope development for the following:Conceptual designs and execution plansEngineering/project cost estimates and schedulesLead efforts for the execution of the following engineering activities:Physical substation designCalculations for studies and reportsEquipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testingSupervise, train and mentor less experienced engineers and team members.Support in marketing pursuitsQualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Candidate shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experienceProficiency with National Electrical Safety Code and IEEE / ANSI StandardExperience with CDEGS preferredExperience with ASPEN preferredOutstanding organizational skills.Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.CMA's High Standard of Professionalism
