Join our team and start your journey today!**Title: Senior Copywriter****Business Platform: Americas****Location: Sidney, OH****Reports to: Director, Marketing Business Partners, Americas****DESCRIPTION:**We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to lead our storytelling efforts across marketing channels. Partnering with our marketing business partner team, the Copywriter will play a critical role in executing our company narrative, brand story and voice, ensuring it resonates in key content initiatives and marketing campaigns for the Americas business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a motivated learner and researcher, and a strategic thinker who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to elevating our brand through exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy. The Senior Copywriter will work with a wide range of business stakeholders, corporate marketing leads, and marketing operations team members to advance critical, priority marketing programs through strategic communications.**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Work closely with Marketing Business Partners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop impactful communication strategies for business and enterprise projects and initiatives in line with brand narrative and guidelines, to accelerate Copelands brand equity and positioning.+ Identify opportunities and credible proof points to support the Copeland narrative framework, converting these opportunities into engaging stories to share internally and externally.+ Write strategic copy and messaging in support of company and product initiatives including website content, social media, email communications, advertisements, marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, product descriptions, blog articles, thought leadership and long-form copy and more.?+ Adapt tone, style and messaging to suit different market needs, product lines and target audiences, both internal and external, while maintaining consistent brand voice.+ Conduct thorough research on industry trends, regulatory changes, market dynamics and competitor activities to inform content development and ensure relevance and differentiation.+ Brainstorm and develop creative concepts, both independently and collaboratively, that advance marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.+ Review and refine existing copy across all channels, ensuring consistency, and effectiveness.?+ Collaborate with the marketing business partner team, the design team, and other department leads to ensure a cohesive visual and verbal brand story.?+ Utilize digital and AI tools to enhance content creation, optimize workflows, and maintain industry-leading practices. (e.g. Writer, Jasper, Anyword).?+ Manage multiple projects through project management software to meet deadlines from concept to delivery+ Stay current on trends and best practices to keep our brand at the forefront of our industries.?**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:**+ Excellent writing, storytelling, editing and proofreading skills.+ Bachelors degree in English, Journalism or related field, plus minimum of 5 years of related marketing writing experience across both digital and traditional channels+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization+ Basic knowledge of search engine optimization best practices related to website copy+ Strong project management skills with the ability to organize a daily workload and prioritize tasks+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive+ Experience in project management software (i.e., Monday.com)**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:**+ Bachelors degree or higher+ Knowledge of content accessibility standards and inclusive writing practices.+ Familiarity with AP, Chicago, or another recognized editorial style guide, with experience adapting for brand-specific guidelines.**Our Commitment to Our People**Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
