Claims Processing Representative**Grand River Medical Group**1 PositionsID: 1343279Posted On 10/30/2024**Job Overview****Claims Processing Representative**Position located in Dubuque, IA; telecommuting options available**Grand River Medical Group, a leading healthcare provider in the Dubuque and tri-state area, is currently seeking an experienced Claims Representative. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Position is eligible to work from home after the probation period with the expectation to report to the office once per week.****Summary:** The Claims Processing Representative will provide a key role in reviewing and analyzing dialysis claims rejections, corrections and running financial reports.**Duties include but are not limited to:**+ Answer incoming Revenue Cycle calls from patients and staff.+ Assist patients courteously with billing questions, payments, and complaints over the phone.+ Review and update patient information, making necessary changes and capturing correct patient demographics and insurance information.+ Prepare commercial insurance checks to be posted.**Education/Experience/Skills:**+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years' of similar or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.+ Knowledge of dialysis process and dialysis billing preferred.+ Ability to use computer, office equipment, including keyboard skills.+ Ability to work under multiple priorities.+ Ability to work independently, as a team and with dialysis staff and/or patients as needed for insurance purposes.+ Must possess knowledge of UB-04 billing for Dialysis services and reimbursement in compliance with CPT and ICD guidelines.+ Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.**We offer:** A competitive hourly wage plus a very attractive benefits package including vacation, generous company provided benefits, and much more.Grand River Medical Group is an equal opportunity employer.
