Heavy Equipment Operator

Backhoe, Excavator, Skid Steer, etc. Job Description Will be operating heavy equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, dozers, and backhoes Will be performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment Will load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers Will complete required paperwork, forms, and records, as required Will coordinate machine actions with crew members in response to hand or audio signals Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally; 40-50 pounds frequently and carrying same along with constant sitting, grasping, and reaching, occasional climbing and walking Requirements Requirements Must be able to operate routinely used tools and equipment Must be able to work without close supervision, once directed on task Must obey and follow all safety rules on the job site and encourage others to do the same Must maintain a good relationship with co-works and works well with others to accomplish a task Pre-Requisites Must have at least 3-5 years of experience on bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, scrapers, and graders Must have own reliable transportation, be highly motivated, and willing to travel Must be able to pass a required drug screen and background check (when needed, per site location) CDL preferred
