Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.This position is full-time/Days
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which is a Level 3 NICU is looking for passionate nurses who would like to join our team and provide quality care to our babies who aren't able to go home with their Mother at discharge.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 47 bed NICU, that provides special care to babies born as early as 28 weeks and as small as 800g. Our nurses strive to provide family-centered care by collaborating not only with the families but with Neonatologists, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational therapists, and Lactation consultants. We advocate for our patients and families throughout their stay, continuously providing education and support.

Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty.Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.Emergency Care - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 90 days of hire.BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
