Bringing together traditional and alternative investments, Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management provides clients around the world with a dedicated partnership and focus on long-term performance. As primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors and individuals.The Portfolio Construction & Risk team is an integral part of fixed income and liquidity solutions. The team is responsible for:Monitoring all fixed income mandates' positioning, risk and performance,Overseeing investment process across all desks, and collaborating with senior PMs to drive and contribute to process improvements,Owning and improving proprietary fixed income risk model,Establishing the platform's risk frameworks and thresholds

Key responsibilitiesRecurring risk and performance monitoring and analysisLeading discussion forums CIOs and senior investors - offering insights, making recommendations, and asking questionsWorking closely with senior PMs to improve investment and risk monitoring processesCollaborating with quantitative strategists on risk model updates and investment tools

Skills / Experience1+ years of experience in a similar roleStrong analytical and quantitative skillsCurious and keen to work on open-ended projects and improve processesExcellent follow-throughInterest in cross-functional teams and tasksBasic knowledge of fixed income and investment risk is a plusProgramming skills are a plus

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
