Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble batteries and electrical assemblies in accordance with approved design data to include procedures, drawings, and schematics.Perform in-process and final testing of both electronic assemblies and batteries.Have the ability to identify and expose safety hazards that may not be present to the casual observer.Perform work with a high degree placed on safety.Assist with troubleshooting and reworking batteries or assemblies.Maintain good housekeeping standards that comply with Saft's World Class program.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to become certified in J-STD-001, IPC 610 and IPC 620.Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings and process specifications.Ability to operate various hand-tools and numerous other manufacturing and test equipment.Good interpersonal and organizational skills with emphasis on paying attention to details.Works as a part of a team.Able to adapt quickly to new methods and techniques.Understand and consistently perform work in a manner that meets the requirements of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.Able to learn quickly
