The facility is planned to be built by early 2026 for production commencement. Consequently, the first part of the journey in this role in our Company will involve coordinating the construction, and the implementation of new processes, as well as participating with the development of a high-performance team and coordinating all aspects of the factory setup to prepare for production. In the interim, there may be international travel for training at other Siemens-Energy facilities.
This role is for individual contributor, responsible for preparing designs of Controls and wiring diagrams for Power transformers as well as for achieving design innovations and the optimization of the end products in compliance to Siemens Energy design rules, quality standards, cost and time schedule at Siemens Energy Power Transformers Factory at Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
YourTasks & Responsibilities are as below:
Design and develop control panels for large power transformers.
Createwiring diagrams, cabinet layout drawings and schematics forcontrol panels and associated electrical systems for customerapproval and production.
Order associated materials and components like wires, terminalblocks, panels, switchgear, monitoring/protection/control instruments etc.
Create drawings and BOMs related to control panels and wiring
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs meetcustomer requirements and industry standards.
Troubleshoot control panel issues and provide technical support tofield service teams.
Ensure that all designs comply with relevant safety and regulatorystandards.
Manage projects from conception to completion, including budgeting,scheduling, and resource allocation.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders toensure that project requirements are met. Involve in design review withcustomers and development of vendors. Requirement for thisrole:
Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering or a related field.
6+ years of experience incontrol panel and wiring design for medium or large power transformers.

Knowledge of different electronics devices used inTransformer control system for monitoring & controlling temperature,voltage regulation, Annunciation & communication protocol used in industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD& Eplan or similar control wiring design software. Knowledge of3D CAD is added advantage.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and control panel designprinciples.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project managementskills.
Key skills:
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English is necessary.
· Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision
· Effective co-ordination with manufacturing and suppliers
Experience with SAP is an addedadvantage.
