Description
Comunilife Inc. is looking to hire a Clinical Supervisor to join its Bronx residential program,La Centralteam. The Clinical Supervisoris responsible for the supervision and training of the case management staff. Responsible for the coordination of the delivery of services to all clients. The Clinical Supervisor ensures that all clinical services including but not limited to; programming, case management, monthly reporting, evaluating, case conferences and case audits meet professional standards as required based on the program’s needs.This position is eligible for Comunilife's generous benefits and paid time off package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement employer contributions after 2 years, tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
Essential Duties:
Ensure every client at La Central Residence receives high quality case management and support services, facilitated by comprehensive assessments and service
Supervise the delivery of mental health and substance use disorder services and referrals, including assistance in accessing primary medical care, adherence to medication regiments, activities for daily living, nutritional services, recreation programs, and vocational/education services
Supervise and coordinate support to clients in obtaining and maintaining public benefits
Maintain all documents necessary for quality improvement review and prepare monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports as requested
Provide supervision and training; accompany staff on client visits as needed
Review and monitor clients’ charts to ensure completeness of documentation
Conduct monthly interdisciplinary team case conferences
Participate in the hiring selection process for relevant positions
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirement(s):
Licensed Master’s of Social Work (LMSW) or New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Two (2) to five (5) years’ supervisory work experience, overseeing a case management team.
Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC-T or CASAC) is a plus
Strong administrative and social service delivery or related experience
Demonstrated experience in evaluating, monitoring and improving quality of services
Knowledge and hands-on experience in providing direct services related to the treatment and recovery of persons with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, serious mental illness, and homelessness
Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office and Google product suites
Ability to perform and manage in a team approach; excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to handle complex challenges and balance multiple demands on time and attention
Ability and willingness to perform all duties as workload necessitates
