Job Description:
As a Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapist at SportsCare you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for children with a variety of conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine physical therapy needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve patients' physical abilities and overall function.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies to promote recovery and development.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide coordinated care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.Stay current with advancements in pediatric physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities.Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental stages and conditions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Benefits:
