Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler is responsible for the construction of enclosures and the assembly of electrical panels in compliance with UL standards. This position will involve mechanical assembly, wiring of components, and quality control to ensure that all products meet safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a UL panel shop and demonstrate attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Construct enclosures and assemble electrical panels in compliance with UL standards.
Perform mechanical assembly and wiring of components.
Conduct quality control to ensure all products meet safety and performance standards.
Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment (e.g., multimeters) proficiently.
Adhere to safety standards and best practices in electrical assembly.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in mechanical assembly and wiring in a UL panel shop environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment (e.g., multimeters).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in electrical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical certifications in electrical work or panel building preferred.
