Kettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center, has been providing care to Dayton and surrounding communities for over 90 years.
Over 20 specialties, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services.
KH Dayton expanded their Emergency Department as well as their heart & vascular services to include an additional catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab.
Partners with Gem City Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital.
One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States.

Over the past several years, KH Dayton has received many awards, including:
Top 100 Hospital
Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2019.
Received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
Department OverviewThe KTS Driver transports wheelchair bound patients to and/or from medical care facilities.
Responsibilities & RequirementsJob Specific Duties:
Ensures the basic needs of the patient is met during transport.
Arrives on time at patient pick-up locations.
Ensures that patients are left at the appropriate destination.
Completes patient care and billing reports.
Ability to properly use wheelchair lift in ambulette vehicle and safely secure all patients.
Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.
Operational Duties:
Performs regular assigned shift duties.
Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.
Completes detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management.
Uses appropriate terminology and tone and follows all radio communication procedures.
Drives company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies.
Preferred QualificationsJob Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
First Aid certification, preferred
CPR certification, preferred
Valid driver’s license, with no more than four (4) points, and approval by company insurance provider
