Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Operate a sewing machine to sew together materials. Apply silicone sealant using semi-automatic hand operator assembly fixtures and sealing machines to cut and assemble products. Cut materials according to specifications or trim excess material or thread from finished products. Fold together materials, such as cloth, foam rubber, and plastic, to prepare for machine sewing. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements. Assemble components by examining connections for the correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Verify specifications by measuring the completed component. Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

Essential Skills
1+ years of assembly experience
Ability to read basic directions and follow drawings
Experience with trimming, cutting, and sewing
Proficiency in operating sewing machines
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School degree or GED
Medical Device experience preferred but not necessary
