Key Responsibilities: As a
Driver Helper
for dnata Catering, your primary role is to assist the CDL Driver in delivering meals and supplies to various aircrafts. You will work closely with the driver and catering team to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of meals, while adhering to specific dietary requirements and airline preferences. Your responsibilities include loading and unloading catering carts onto the delivery truck, ensuring they are properly secured for transportation. During the delivery process, you will assist the driver in navigating airport traffic, locating the correct aircraft, and unloading the catering carts. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of delivered items and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the driver or supervisor. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of meals for dnata Catering.

You Will
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for safe guidance of catering truck to aircraft.Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata Catering sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.Assist in loading and off-loading food trolleys onto trucks.Load & unload trucks with Driver.International waste pickups from various airports.delivery of OTJ to various airports.Responsible for completing vehicle inspection forms pre and post trips.Responsible for completing all HACCP forms.Maintain clean truck.Work in safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers and report all unsafe incidents.Communicate with supervisors and dispatchers and obtain clear instructions for related trips.NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned by management (i.e., VIP shopping, ad hoc errands).The salary for this position is
$22.00 hourly with weekly pay , which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
You Have
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years' experience in driver supper and customer service.QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a Warehouse/Airline catering environment.A Valid Driver's License.The ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a
PANYNJ (Port Authority), Port ID (per TSA regulations and more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209).Must have excellent attention to detail.Must be able to multi-task.Must be able to read and write in English.Reliable - excellent attendance & punctuality.Schedule flexibility. Must be able to work Saturday's and Sunday's.Ability to lift and push heavy objects, racks, etc.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Work safely to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
Intellectual/Social demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold/heat (weather), heights and loud noise (earplugs must be worn while on the Ramp)
