As a Senior Financial Analyst - with a focus on OneStream for Planning and Reporting, you will play a key role in supporting a well-managed monthly process while helping users re-imagine and enhance their future-state processes. This role will focus on driving process improvements, leveraging automation, and ensuring data and results are available on-demand within a “Finance Product & Data Solutions” environment.

You will partner with finance users to drive solutions that challenge our current well-managed processes to be more proactive, effective, and efficient. Senior Financial Analysts will utilize Onestream along with a wide array of tools to impact the near and long term trajectory of the organization.

General Responsibilities include:

Coordinate and collect data inputs from Financial Analysts across departments, validate data integrity, analyze and summarize key findings, and communicate outputs effectively.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of OneStream Planning & Forecasting, including key activities, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

Own the governance and control of underlying applications supporting the planning processes at Capital One

Provide timely updates on status, risks, and key developments to stakeholders and POD leadership

Collaborate within an Agile environment to drive continuous process improvements.

Handle ad-hoc requests and participate in special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or military experience

At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, financial systems, accounting, or financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

2+ years of experience in financial analysis or financial modeling

At least 1 year of experience with an EPM tool (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, or similar software)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or G-Suite

Experience with SQL and Tableau
