We are currently seeking an Emergency Response Truck Driver to be based out of Omaha, NE to assist with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS - Pause, Review, Observe, StartPerforms non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materialsPerforms labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shiftWorks in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heightsOperates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.The applicant must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipmentTravel is required.Have an excellent driving record
What does it take to work at Environmental Restoration?
A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience safely operating a vehicle requiring a CDLA minimum of a Class B CDL, it is preferable to have a Class A CDL with a HazMat and Tanker endorsementPass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical examLegally eligible to work in the United Stated (Verified through E-Verify)Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) CertificationAbility to work on an on-call basis as business needs requireAbility and willingness to work in a physically intensive roleAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to wear a respiratorRegularly lift and carry 50 poundsMust be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
Environmental experience, hazardous waste experience and certification (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER), CDL, heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience is a plus.
