Schedule:
Part-time hours between Mon-Thur 8 am-5 pm, Fri 8:00 am-2:30 pm
Compensation:
Starting at $25.00/hour and up! (pending experience)
We are a smaller outpatient clinic with 2-3 clinicians, front office staff, and Athletic Trainers. Our clinic is a Sports Center of Excellence with ties to a NA3HL hockey team, college, and high schools. We treat a diverse orthopedic patient mix including sports medicine, general orthopedics, vestibular/ post concussion and worker's comp.
Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
Responsibilities
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Outpatient clinical rotation in lieu of experience if a new grad
Outpatient experience within the last 5 years if practicing clinician
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
CPR Certification
