Job Summary
The Financial Analyst - Prequalification is responsible for providing processing and financial analysis support to the Prequalification Team, a critical support function to Sundt businesses, which rely on Prequalification to ensure that Sundt subcontracting partners are financially healthy. The Financial Analyst - Prequalification will maintain a professional working relationship with subcontractors and make decisions regarding the risk of a subcontractor's financial position by conducting financial statement analysis to determine the maximum project limit allowed. This role will be a springboard to career advancement within the Prequalification team and other Sundt Finance and Accounting departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conducts research and collects data used for comparing, preparing, generating, and distributing reports.2. Creates and maintains various How-To procedures for prequalification processes for the department.3. Maintains prequalification database by entering financial statements.4. Point of contact for review requests and support troubleshooting.5. Provides administrative support to jobsites and others.6. Provides training for the Prequalification Interns.7. Researches information requests and coordinates and collects data for special management studies and reports, including periodically for Sundt's CFO.8. Responsible for conducting the prequalification of subcontractors, maintaining subcontractor information in various databases and responding to subcontractor inquiries regarding the prequalification process and status.9. Responsible for processing, reviewing and approving prequalification applications up to a project limit set by the Prequalification Manager.10. Sets up and maintains standard prequal files for prequal forms, additional documents related to the prequalification and financials.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial credit analysis position.2. Bachelor's degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, or economics.3. CPA license preferred4. Knowledge of computer applications related to data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets.

1. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis2. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures3. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis4. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day5. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
