Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Aerotek is hiring immediately for assemblers! The company we are supporting is making sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Assemble a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous part.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in through-hole fashion utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Perform electrical function tests at printed circuit board and final assembly levels using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.
Other duties as required (e.g., packing, etc.)
Hard Skills
Ability to lift up to 26lb
Minimum 4 months of production work
Assembler experience is a plus
