Job Description

HRConnect is the name for AbbVie HR and Payroll support and services (externally, often referred to as HR Operations) focused on providing excellent employee experience as a primary principle. This dedicated, globally diverse team is focused on supporting AbbVie Employees and Managers in their administrative and operational HR needs. The Manager, People Solutions is responsible for leading employee inquiry and transactional services for all HR related matters. This position is responsible for maximizing the value of the global service center model, providing tactical project support for HR activities and services, day-to-day management of Tier 1 service team, work collaboratively with Tier 2 and 3 and other teams. Responsibility will focus to service European countries.

Responsibilities

Ensures the delivery of functional integrity and high-quality employee service via Tier 1 working closely with Tier 2 and 3 internal teams of HR Services by ensuring that processes and procedures are in line with guidelines, and that resourcing is managed effectively.

Provide oversight of annual program administration.

Answers team member inquires and resolves team member issues by utilizing contact center procedures, policy manuals, knowledge management systems, and other reference materials.

Meets and strives to exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are aligned to efficient and excellent service delivery.

Participates in selection, training, and coaching of staff and creating a work environment that builds and retains talent.

Responsible to effectively manage team performance, procedures, as well as training programs. Monitor, measure, and give feedback to direct reports on achievement of goals.

Accountable for developing teammates consistent with their development needs and aligned development plan.

Escalates team member inquiries in a timely manner when additional research or analysis is necessary.

Act as liaison with Business Technology Solution (BTS), Data Digital Solutions, Center of Excellence (COE), cross-HRConnect partners and manage stakeholders.

Provides inputs / methods to update, simplify, or enhance processes, procedures, and technologies as required.

Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities and participates in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.

5+ years’ experience required in HR, HR operations, customer services; 3+ years in supervisory role.

Strong Business and HR acumen.

Knowledge of large-scale payroll processing and HRIS systems / applications and strong skills in technologies.

Understanding of interactions between HR, accounting, and finance.

Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and collaborate well with cross-functional partners. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills and process orientation.

Ability to consistently meet, or exceed, goals and KPIs.

Experience in continuous improvement and quality.

Experience in managing range of HR services that operates business globally (European country support experience is plus).

This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires 3 days onsite per week

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

Salary: $103,500 - $197,000
