Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The Financial Program Analyst will serve as Subject Matter Expert on the Army's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. They will serve as an expert consultant functioning in the capacity of a subject matter expert on the Army's ERP and provide integrated financial management support services for internal and external customers. Typical responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:Support the analysis and report generation of financial execution activities within GFEBS to include Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), reprogramming actions, Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and other financial execution activities to sustain the JPEO A&A missionAssist in the responsibility to maintain and track funded reimbursable authorityInterface with ASA(ALT) Managerial Accounting Directorate (MAD) and Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS) as neededSupport responsibility of Mid-Year Review and Execution ReviewsSupport requests for FMS Admin funds and track their executionSupport audit activities (such as DAR-Q / MICP / RMIC etc.,) as related to financial dataAdjust closed accounts for financial transactions per regulationInterpret data from various systems to obtain data and conduct analysisSupport the oversight of Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) appropriations to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS)Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited University5-12 years' experience in spending chain with the Army's DFAS, FMS, GFEBs or other DoD ERPMilitary experience preferred.Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years.Experience working in a highly collaborative environmentAbility to obtain a Public Trust
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
