Position Description
Provides overall administrative support, to include: preparing correspondence, creating and maintaining files, creating and maintaining data base systems, preparing and coordinating monthly reports, coordinating truck traffic with operations and customers, maintaining and ordering office supplies and equipment, reception duties, and coordinating meetings.
Position Requirements
Accounts Payable for multiple terminals, vendor set up and P.O. creation.
Prepares customer monthly inventory and VAR reports
Interacts with customers and provides support as necessary
Set up customer and carrier accounts in TMS.
Responsible for ordering office and terminal supplies as needed
Supports railyard setting up truck PIN #'s, Entering and reconciling Galahad orders
Provides backup for other functions as necessary and for vacation coverage
Maintain training files
Provides administrative support to manager as required
Highly skilled in usage of MicroSoft Office
Must be highly organized, energetic, able to work independently, and meet deadlines
Must be able to deal effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of their organization
Must be able to accept supervision and direction and work cooperatively with people
Good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to handle stress
