Our professionals provide services specifically tailored to our clients' changing needs, including the varying aspects of initial or periodic analysis for financial transactions, including debt and equity transactions. We have experience across multiple lending and equity transaction, various debt asset classes, specialty lending/securitization and asset-based lending areas.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Perform due diligence and field examination assignments for the Group's clientsSupervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively; work to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluationsRegarded as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and shares knowledgeAssume significant client responsibility as client's trusted advisor, relied upon for knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and teamManage staff on engagement deliverables; complete technical and strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are metResponsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentation and proposal development and meet individual cross serve goalsResponsible for billing and realization on assigned clients; develop overall engagement budget, explain variancesUnderstand client's needsDrive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and builds a positive cultureMake recommendations on internal department proceduresRecognize business opportunities for our clients and for CBIZ
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in ABL, Securitization and Private Equity Due Diligence is preferred; or 10+ years of experience as an Internal Auditor or Credit Reviewer within the Financial Services Industry
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required8 years experience in public accounting or related field5 years supervisoryMust have active CPA or equivalent certificationAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsAbility to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessaryDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProficient use of applicable technologyMust be able to travel based on business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $145,000-$170,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
