Responsibilities and Requirements
Primary Function
The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care, including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.
Position Qualifications
Experience
Two years min. preferred. Would consider entry level candidates.
Education and Training
Graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s, Masters, or Doctorate degree program in physical therapy
License, Certification & Registration
MAPT – Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
Current and valid drivers license
Other Requirements
Ability to use rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to:
Splints
Orthoses
Prosthesis
Wheelchairs
ADL equipment
Modalities
