Key job responsibilities As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will... Drive product launches including working with feature/delivery teams across a large organization, GTM, and executives Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the teams ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals A successful candidate will be detail oriented, analytical, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers. They will be adept at leveraging new and existing technologies to uniquely solve customer problems. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical program management experience - Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
