Responsibilities:
Performs responsibilities of Machine Builder III with the following additions:
Coordinates team activities, sets daily expectations for safety, quality, scheduling and costing
Understands established quality standards and performs quality checks per work instructions
Identifies root causes and trends of issues/problems in work areas, communicates information to support/empower work group and initiates action plan to resolve issues
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
Coordinates activities for training of team as directed by supervisor, including maintaining training matrix
Utilizes spreadsheets, word processing, and other necessary applications to document and track improvements
Leads by example; mentors, coaches and teaches
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience required
Demonstrated ability to lead a workgroup
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficient in the use of hand tools as well as complicated jigs and fixtures
Must understand and apply all applicable piping codes and requirements
Must be able to read and understand detailed layout, P&ID diagrams and assembly drawings

Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. The starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
Salary range:
$45,500.00 - $72,500.00
