Clinical Research Program Coordinator - RI Biobeha Jackson Requisition ID 2024-52523 Category Research Overview The Jackson Lab focuses on disease-self management and psychosocial outcomes for individuals with cardiac disease across the lifespan with an emphasis on congenital heart disease (CHD). The clinical research program coordinator will be contributing to an NIH-funded randomized clinical trial (RCT) examining the efficacy of a videoconference-delivered physical activity lifestyle intervention among teens and young adults with CHD, as well as other ongoing projects in the lab. Duties will include supervision of clinical research coordinators, health coaches, and undergraduate research students, as well as data and budget management, oversight of IRB submissions and safety reporting, and preparing/submitting conference abstracts and research manuscripts. This position will involve close collaboration with Dr. Jamie Jackson, other investigators and research staff, as well as medical team members in the outpatient hospital setting. Responsibilities Conduct clinical research activities independently or semi-independently and following approved protocols. Data management will include working with statistical analysis software for data management and analysis, medical record reviews, and other research devices (e.g., physical activity monitors). These duties will involve some evening and/or weekend hours on a flexible schedule. Accurately collect and protect research data and participant information. Protection of participant privacy and adherence to policies for management of private and protected health information is required. Maintain proper documentation of approval regarding study procedures and protocol. This includes the creation of source documents that ensure systematic d
