IT Technician
specializing in
computer imaging and deployment
using the
LCR (Load, Clone, and Restore) methodology for a 1 month project . This role is vital in ensuring a standardized, efficient computer setup process, involving the imaging of computers to
Windows 10
via
PXE booting into Microsoft Config Manager , and collaborating with end-users to replace outdated hardware.Key Responsibilities:
LCR Methodology : Implement the Load, Clone, and Restore process for imaging computers, maintaining consistent configurations across systems.
Windows 10 Imaging : Use PXE booting into Microsoft Config Manager to install and configure Windows 10 operating systems.
User Interaction : Work directly with end-users to collect old hardware and deploy new equipment, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
Asset Management : Communicate with the logistics team to manage asset tracking, providing asset tags for old hardware being replaced and assigning new equipment to users.
Qualifications:Experience
in computer imaging and deployment, particularly using LCR methodology, PXE booting, and Microsoft Config Manager.
Strong
communication
skills to interact effectively with end-users and coordinate with logistics teams.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage hardware assets efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Schedule and Details:Schedule : 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (ONSITE) Contract goes to the end of the year
Pay : $23-27/hour
Top Priorities :Image computers and install software.
Swap hardware with end-users and ensure proper setup.
Provide desktop support, including step-by-step training.
