Senior Associate - Corporate Finance (M&A exp. req.) Description

Our client, an international consulting and technology company, is looking to add a Senior Associate to their Corporate Finance, M&A and Integrations Team in Santa Monica, CA. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a billion-dollar-company and have a seat at the table with a small team of seven in Santa Monica that is making decisions for 15,000 employees across the world. Your time will be split between leading financing modeling and valuation projects for investments and acquisitions while playing a key role in ad-hoc projects focused on operational efficiency and workflow planning. Whether your M&A background comes from corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking, they're looking for candidates who have experience doing M&A transactions from end-to-end and still enjoys rolling up their sleeves to crank models and put together compelling visual presentations. Senior Associate - Corporate Finance (M&A exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling and valuation projects for M&A transactions• Oversee analyses and projections of capital raising and strategic initiatives• Perform financial and operational due diligence on prospective investments and acquisitions• Create in-depth financial analyses and reports for senior management• Establish and update financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans• Participate in think tank meetings and nurture a collaborative, innovative environment• Assist in assessing capital structure decisions and financing options• Partner across teams to improve business performance and uncover growth prospects• Support new assignments and ad hoc special projects as priorities shift

Senior Associate - Corporate Finance (M&A exp. req.) Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of M&A transactions experience required• Investment banking experience required• Hands-on experience building three-statement models required• Expert level Excel skills with experience navigating big data required
