Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Equine Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for horse health and welfare, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine health examinations, vaccinations, and dental care for horses
Diagnose and treat various equine diseases and conditions
Perform surgical procedures, including routine and emergency surgeries
Provide emergency care and after-hours support
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Educate horse owners on proper care and prevention of common equine health problems
Collaborate with other veterinary professionals and staff members
Qualifications:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
Valid California veterinary license
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an equine veterinarian
Strong knowledge of equine anatomy, physiology, and disease
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for horse health and welfare
