OverviewPrimary Eye Care Optometrist position in Chicago, IL
THE PRACTICE:
We have an open position for an Optometrist to join one of the most progressive, fastest- growing comprehensive eye care practices in the Midwest, just outside of Chicago in Calumet City, IL.
We’re seeking a qualified candidate who is interested in having a primary care, routine vision exam, and optical optometry practice within an integrated MD/OD medical and surgical group practice. This is an opportunity to join Midwest Eye Centers, a leader in comprehensive eye care.

The position is primarily routine vision exams.
There is potential to perform post-ops and some medical and chronic disease management as well per a candidate’s interest and skills.
Our knowledgeable team of doctors and staff are committed to making the needs of the patient a priority and providing services to the highest level of satisfaction.
We have physicians currently (providing optometric care, retina surgery, glaucoma, cataract, cornea, refractive and comprehensive ophthalmology services)
and we are affiliated with several other Chicagoland groups and academic institutions as well.
We have a free standing, two-story ophthalmic services building with optical and ASC and ample exam lanes with excellent equipment.

This is a full time, salaried, exempt, position.
You’ll have a guaranteed base salary, lucrative productivity bonuses, full executive level benefits package, and paid relocation. The schedule is anticipated to be Monday thru Friday 8:00am-4:30pm two weeks per month, and Tuesday thru Saturday the other two weeks per month, with Saturdays being 8:00am-12:30pm.

This position is located in our Calumet City location.
The area offers a very affordable cost of living, highly rated school systems, and a wonderful quality of life. Reside in a vibrant metropolitan city with access to all the amenities you’ve been looking for.
Our offices are strategically located in Chicago and Calumet City.
You’ll have your choice of a commutable downtown location or affluent south, western, and southwestern suburban neighborhoods in which to reside.
This position is specifically a full-time role at our Calumet City office.
