Compensation Range$133, 500.00 - $222, 300.00 Annual SalaryJob Description Summary:To direct and perform business development, marketing and sales activities including planning and strategy for a specific market segment or region, resulting in expansion of prospects, new contracts, and start of construction. To establish and maintain effective contact with potential buyers of construction services resulting in increased project awards.Job Description:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Able to perform all essential Business Development Representative responsibilitiesDevelop sales goals and strategies for Division or Operations Group, including analysis of current and future sales targetsIdentify, develop and pursue potential project opportunities and client baseIdentify and prioritize potential clientsMaintain current client relationshipsPrepare and submit project proposals and prepare project team for presentationsPrepare proposals, presentations, brochures and other communications materialsAssist in contract negotiations as requested by Division ManagerProvide preconstruction services to current and prospective clientsSupervise preconstruction activitiesTrain project personnel and sales staff to make effective presentationsMaintain new business fileComplete other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:BA/BS degree or equivalent experienceProfessional sales training8 years' experience in marketing, preferably in the construction industry5 years management experienceKnowledge of fee structure and contract formsKnowledge of construction industry and marketContract negotiating skillsAbility to produce highly professional proposals and presentationsEffective interpersonal skillsExcellent English language verbal and written communications skillsEqual Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
