We are looking for a Full-time Clinician at our facility, Ohio Recovery Center in Van Wert, Ohio.
Salary: $60K - $70K - Depending upon Ohio license status, education and experience (Currently offering a $5,000 sign on bonus - $1,000 paid at 90 days of employment, $1,500 at 6 months of employment and $2,500 at 1 year of employment)
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
Clinician Job Summary
This Clinician will provide direct clinical services to clients at our newest Detox/Residential substance abuse treatment facility in a variety of modalities including individual, family and group psychotherapy and psychoeducation. Our Clinicians must be skilled and experienced at treating addictions and their co-occurring mental health disorders, with skill emphasis on Trauma-informed care. They must be able to work effectively, efficiently, and flexibly in a fast-paced, demanding and team-driven work environment. They must also be adept at organization and prioritization, treatment planning, crisis management and electronic documentation.
Clinician Essential ResponsibilitiesPerforming psychosocial evaluations and developing treatment plans and interventions appropriate to the client's age, education, cultural and ethnic background, medical status, substance use and mental diagnoses, functional ability, and life circumstances.Documenting all patent-related activities in a timely and professional manner, and according to agency policy and relevant licensing and accreditation standards.Performing all administrative tasks related to the job assignments and other designated administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner, and performing other work-related duties as assigned/requested by the manager.Providing psychotherapy for patients, families, and groups, acting as a resource for clinical and procedural expertise to other staff members through mutual consultation, and consultation to other professionals as needed.Participating in clinical utilization review and interdisciplinary team sessions as needed, for the purpose of assisting in patient assessment, development and revision of treatment goals, and discharge planning.Participating in regular clinical supervision rounds and consulting with medical director, program manager and colleagues when clinical decisions regarding risk arise.Clinician Requirements:
Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality lawsKnowledge of Drug-free Workplace Policies.Knowledge of Addiction Issues, co-occurring disorders, and the 12-Step Recovery ProgramPatient care charts and patient historiesExperience in crisis intervention and conflict resolutionAlcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual and their family.Emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid and CPRExperience working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient milieuClinician Experience:
2+ years of experience in drug and alcohol treatment.LCDC II, LCDC III, LICDC, LPCC, LISW, LPC, LSW OR License Eligible related human services fieldQualifications/Licensure & Certifications:
Bachelors Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field- Preferred
