Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a ATS - Assembler - 2nd Shift at our Arden, NC site!
Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am Monday - Thursday. Overtime may exceed these hours, and can be mandatory at times.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour, plus a $2/ hour increase for 2nd shift roles.

What you’ll do:
The primary function of the job is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping.
In this function you will:
Build/Wire Main Breaker Units
Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship.
Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalate production issues immediately
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in mechanical and wiring roles
Position Criteria:
Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
Proven history of safe work habits
Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
