Reports to:Transportation Director

Qualifications:A valid Indiana Driver LicenseObtain a Class B CDL with airbrakes, passenger and school bus endorsementsClean driving historyHigh school graduate or equivalentPass a pre-employment drug screenPass a background checkDemonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with other staff.Pass a DOT Physical and Physical Fitness Test every two yearsThe ability to learn new skillsResponsibilities:
Complete a pre-trip inspection prior to each use of the bus.Obey all traffic laws.Observe all FCC regulations for the use of the two-way radio.Supervise the boarding and deboarding of students.Maintain discipline when students are on the bus.Keep assigned bus(es) clean each day.Follow assigned schedules and routes.Discharge students only at authorized stops.Transport only authorized students.Report all accidents and complete proper forms.maintain at least one half a tank of fuel.Attend meetings as requested or required.Complete all required paperwork timely.Follow all procedures, policies, and directives of the district.Perform other duties as assigned or needed.Comply with all directives from supervisor-written or verbal.
