This is a full-time position the will provide coverage for the
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver and courier.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver
will provide for the transportation of patients to and from medical centers, private residences. Furthermore, you will ensure that all passengers reach their destinations safely and in a timely fashion. That means ensuring that everyone is safely strapped in his or her seatbelt and/or wheelchair restraints to have an enjoyable, comfortable ride.
The Courier
is responsible for the routine maintenance of AH building and grounds and for courier service between, among, and for the Centers

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES-NEMT DriverTransporting clients utilizing company vehicle in a professional mannerOperating vehicle in a safe manner to include parking the vehicle and pulling into/out of temporary loading/unloading areasAssisting clients in getting onto the vehicle and safely inside of their respective destinationUtilizing smart mobile technology to interact with dispatching staff to obtain client trip schedules, report the time of passenger pickups and drop offs, as well as any changes to schedule or traffic delays. Notifying the client, if necessary, of late arrivalsReporting any incidents or accidents to the supervisorMaintaining a professional image and attitude with clients, visitors, and co-workersOperating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs and stretchers in the vehicleCompleting daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanlinessAdhering to company policies and standard operating procedures3.All other duties as assigned

Performs local errands to and from medical facilities, post office, bank and merchants using the company trucks.Performs maintenance of buildings and grounds as assigned.Maintains equipment, machinery, and van.Checks in/receives supplies.EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GEDCERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Current Florida driver's license.Clean driving recordEXPERIENCE
No experience necessary. We will provide on the job training.
