Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a PDU Assembler I to join their team. As a PDU Assembler I, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing of Power Distribution Units (PDU) in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environment.
Job Title: PDU Assembler I
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Range: $22.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift assignment
What's the Job?
Timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics for Power Distribution Units (PDU).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Use cranes to pick up, and move materials.
Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
Perform point to point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution Units.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and making necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals.
Adhere to company, environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+.
What's Needed?
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Experience in production, packaging or construction.
Previous experience with standard operating procedures.
Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance and/or repair.
Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.
