In this role, you will:
Play a vital part in revolutionizing our audit function by identifying and implementing process improvements.
Develop and execute audit plans, respond to tax authority information document requests, and negotiate audit strategies and results.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify refund opportunities within the audit process.
Build strong relationships with taxing authorities to resolve outstanding audit issues.
What we're looking for:
Relevant tax audit and controversy experience
Experience managing complex tax audits and audit plans
A track record of working with tax jurisdictions to resolve audit issues.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) qualification (preferred) or Advanced Tax or Accounting Degree (preferred)
Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
Proficiency in working with big data, complex reconciliations, and new technology
Proficiency in identifying process improvements
In-depth knowledge of various states tax laws and regulations and the ability to apply such laws to business operations
Exceptional Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A talent for simplifying complex tax topics and issues for internal and external stakeholders.
Strong tax research and writing skills
A passion for tackling challenges and engaging Fortune 1 scale

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
