REPORTS TO:
Cabinets Team Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW:Reporting directly to the Cabinets Team Coordinator, this position is responsible for accurately cutting and preparing laminate for cabinet assembly according to work orders and blueprints. Duties include measuring, sawing, and preparing boards for builders, as well as assisting other departmental employees and adhering to the production schedule while ensuring a high-quality product. This role involves frequent interaction with internal and external customers and is an integral part of the Life Line Emergency Vehicle Team.
WORKING HOURS:6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Friday. Flexibility is required, with an occasional early start or late finish as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIESOperate and maintain various tools and equipment, including sanders, routers, table saws, chop and miter saws, and other assigned machinery.Apply mechanical aptitude using power and/or air tools and carpentry processes.Problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions during production.Train and support team members on specific processes and techniques.Maintain finish work standards with strong attention to detail.Read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately.Conduct quality assurance checks on products during manufacturing.Meet or exceed established production and cost reduction goals.Understand and apply manufacturing methods and techniques.Possess knowledge of Life Line products and required production materials.Work closely with Engineering staff and the parts department to ensure smooth operations.Exhibit excellent organizational skills and meet production deadlines.Demonstrate effective measuring and mathematical skills.Communicate clearly with team members and departments.Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience with mechanical tools and saws.Knowledge of Life Line products is a plus.EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, grip, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, move, and carry.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Utilize senses of sight, touch, sound, and smell.The physical demands described here represent those necessary for the position's essential functions.
